Our chocolate is made using the highest quaility cacao beans from around the world. These select beans come from the Trinitario and Criollo species, which are regarded as “Fine Flavor” cacao beans. We source our cacao directly from small family farmers and farmer co-ops, where the money we pay for our chocolate is well above the market price. This allows us to assist farmers in planting more cacao trees, increasing their standard of living while also ensuring the finest beans will be grown for years to come. The foundation of Sol Cacao is grounded in sustainability; not only do our purchases improve the well being of Cacao farmers, but it also creates a high quality product for our customers.
